I have been working at Escalated Solutions, Inc (Agility Staffing Services) for about two years. In the first few weeks of my employment, I spoke to one staff member who really spoke highly of the CEO and the management. It seemed to me that they are really happy working here. Later on, I realized that the CEO is really concerned about the welfare of the staff. He is adamant about paying people well and treating them right. He is never selfish and loves to celebrate his people. It's refreshing to work in a company where the CEO and the management don't seem anti-employee, which is opposite of my experiences in previous companies that have the audacity to say "we're family" when they treat you far from such. Here, everyone can speak up, make suggestions, they feel comfortable about expressing thoughts and opinions. Most of all, the support we receive is amazing. We are provided the equipment we need to do our jobs well, and the management does not micro-manage us. While you can never truly please everyone, and there will always be pros and cons to working for companies, but I truly feel that here, the good things outweigh any seemingly perceived negative experiences that some people may have. - Annie
I am Richard Sy, currently serving as the Director for Operations at Healthscope. My journey with Healthscope began in 2014, and since then, I have held various roles prior to my promotion to Director.
In 2014, I started my role as a Patient Services Representative and initially joined the Documentations team. Our main objective was to obtain any missing documents necessary for the approval of a patient's CPAP therapy. Months later, senior management decided to form a Compliance Team within the operations in the Philippines. As a Registered Nurse, I was transferred from the Documentation team to the Compliance Team - Our primary focus is to ensure that patients can use the CPAP device as comfortably as possible. Our team is dedicated to making sure that our patients adhere to their CPAP therapy. After two years as an agent, I earned a promotion to team lead for the PAP Compliance workgroup. Over the course of more than three years in that role, I observed how my team tripled in size.
In late 2019, I was approached to take on the role of Operations Coordinator. Initially, I was hesitant to accept the position because Rob had just completed a merger with a US company. In addition to the merger, the Philippine operations were transitioning from a DME Supplier to staffing solutions, a change for which the upper management was unprepared. After accepting the position, the pressure was immense. Initially, we had to demonstrate that Healthscope could deliver top-notch services to our clients. Then, the COVID-19 pandemic unfolded. Contrary to many companies that suffered significantly during the pandemic, Healthscope on other hand, flourished. In fact, it was during this period that we observed substantial growth among our employees.
Thankfully, with the guidance of our QA Director, Fleur, and HR Director, Ann, we have successfully adapted to changes and expanded the Healthscope family from approximately 100 employees in 2020 to nearly 400 employees today.
I am grateful to have been part of this company for almost 10 years now. I appreciate the opportunities and chances given to me over the years—from the time that I was still an agent and now as part of the management team. This could not have been possible without the support of my colleagues and our CEO, who looked out for us and made sure those who showed leadership capabilities were given the chance to do more.
