In November 2021, I stepped away from ETS for a much-needed career break. During my time off, I stayed connected with my manager and colleagues, keeping up with team updates. This ongoing connection reminded me how much the project and team meant to me.

After exploring new opportunities and receiving several offers, I reflected on what truly mattered to me in a workplace. That’s when I decided to return to ETS—a decision I’m incredibly grateful for. Since coming back, I’ve witnessed significant improvements and felt inspired by the team’s growth and collaboration.

What brought me back—and continues to inspire me—is ETS’s unwavering commitment to employee well-being and its culture of support and growth. From Fresh Graduate to Thriving Developer: A Journey of Growth at ETS

I joined ETS in 2020 as a fresh graduate and have grown immensely, both technically and personally, in my first job as a Junior Analyst Programmer. One of my proudest achievements was leading the cross-asset templates overhaul—a challenging project that required deep technical understanding and close teamwork. Completing it successfully showed me how much I’ve evolved since day one.

ETS has fostered my growth with continuous learning opportunities. I’ve completed a Linux scripting course, am pursuing a Scrum Master Certification, and plan to explore SQL and AWS training next. Beyond work, I’m an active member of the Gamers Guild, which has strengthened bonds with colleagues through our shared passion for gaming.

Looking ahead, I aim to become someone my peers can trust and rely on. ETS has been the perfect place to learn, grow, and prepare for the challenges and opportunities the future holds.

Today, I’m back at ETS and couldn’t be happier. Staying connected with my supportive manager during my time away played a big part in my return. The welcoming environment, incredible people, and sense of belonging made it an easy choice.

Since returning, I’ve seen exciting developments like the Career Roadmap, which recognizes achievements and growth. As a Senior QA in the Loans Space, I’m focused on honing my skills and working towards becoming a QA Test Lead. For those considering a return to ETS: trust your heart.
