I first started working for RHR as Duty Manager of Go Hotels Mandaluyong in 2010. I was able to learn and work my way up to Senior Hotel Manager. I learned a lot from handling and helping with the Pre-Opening of Hotels, managing a Go Hotels property and a Summit Hotel property. During these times, I felt appreciated and trusted.
Then the pandemic came, early retirement was offered by the company for those who are already tenured at least for 10 years. I had to take the offer since work hours was limited and that would not be enough for me and my family to survive. I had to make that really hard decision to look for another opportunity elsewhere. In 2021,I was asked to return and the Operations Manager for Go Luzon. I was really happy that I was given another chance to come back.
Now, RHR is even better. Employees are appreciated and we can always approach HR for any concerns. RHR is pro-active in taking employee welfare initiative that builds trust and commitment in the workplace. Our Leaders in the company make time for the employees. To train them and collaborate with them. Our ideas and opinions are heard and taken in consideration. Our hotel improvement projects are supported one big example is the rebranding of Go Hotels Mandaluyong and changing the façade signage.
Overall, RHR is a great place to work because, our leaders are committed in creating an employee centric culture that is authentic where employees can express their best qualities but also look forward to sharing growth.
CA Contento - Operations Manager Go Hotels NCR/Luzon
I must say that I am lucky to have Robinsons Hotels and Resorts (RHR) as my first employer after college.
RHR, the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corporation (RLC) gave me an opportunity to take on challenging yet fulfilling tasks in the early stage of my career that helped me to be a critical thinker, innovative, and visionary.
To ensure that we are well-equipped for the tasks, the management also provides training to address and close skills gap.
I am proud to be part of Team RHR!

Home away from home is a cliché tagline of a hotel to represent the brand to its guests. It can be ironic for someone who works behind the scene.
I pursued a career away from my hometown (Bataan), rather, a big leap, most would reckon. I also felt that I have to hide some parts of myself to be able to cope and adapt. But then I found Robinsons Hotels and Resorts and its commitment to diversity isn’t just about feeling good, but focusing on celebrating everyone's uniqueness.
The sense of belonging makes me more engaged, productive and more likely to take healthy risks.
Indeed, home away from home is not just for guests, but for the employees as well.
